Collection of Personally Identifiable Information
SPLA may collect personally identifiable information (email address, name, phone
number etc.) from you when you set up an account by using any or various means
provided under SPLA™ Product Suite.
While you can browse some sections of SPLA™ Product Suite without being a
registered member, certain activities may require registration. SPLA does use your
contact information to contact you for business reasons.
Use of Demographic and Profile Data
SPLA uses personal information to provide the services you request. To the extent
SPLA uses your personal information to provide services to you, SPLA shall provide
you the ability to opt-out of such uses. SPLA uses your personal information to resolve
disputes, troubleshoot problems, help promote a safe service, collect fees owed,
measure consumer interest in SPLA products and services, inform you products,
services, updates, customize your experience, detect and protect you against error,
fraud and other criminal activity, enforce SPLA terms and conditions and as otherwise
may be described to you. In SPLA efforts to continually improve SPLA product and
service offerings, SPLA collects and analyzes demographic and profile data about
SPLA users’ activity with SPLA™ Product Suite. SPLA identifies and uses your IP
address to help diagnose problems with SPLA server, and to administer SPLA web
based services. Your IP address is also used to help identify you and to gather broad
demographic information. SPLA will occasionally ask you to complete optional online
surveys. These surveys may ask you for contact information and demographic
information. SPLA will not share your profile information with any other organization to
let them use it for marketing purposes.
Why we are accessing user details, location, and camera?
We are capturing the User Data/Location/ for passenger safety purposes, during the
journey, In case If anything goes wrong Passenger can raise the SOS to the admin
team, So they can Identify the passenger location, In short, the actual scenario will be
when user rise SOS then our app starts capture location, audio recording as well video
recording and send that users data to his transport management team so they can
understand what is actual cause during users journey and accordingly provide help.
This is the main core functionality of our SPLA application.
Sharing of Personal Information
SPLA may share personal information with other corporate entities and affiliates to help
detect and prevent identity theft, fraud and other potentially illegal acts, correlate related
or multiple accounts to prevent abuse of SPLA services, and to facilitate joint or
co-branded services that you request where such services are provided by more than
one corporate entity.
SPLA may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith
belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court
orders, or other legal process. SPLA may disclose personal information to law
enforcement offices, third party rights owners, or others in the good faith belief that such
disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce SPLA Terms or Privacy Policy, respond to
claims that an advertisement, posting or other content violates the rights of a third party;
or protect the rights, property or personal safety of SPLA users or the general public.
Lithium Urban Technology Pvt. Ltd. its affiliates will share some or all of your personal
information with another business entity should SPLA (or SPLA assets) plan to merge
with, or be acquired by that business entity. Should such a transaction occur that other
business entity (or the new combined entity) will be required to follow this privacy policy
with respect to your personal information.
SPLA™ Product Suite may link to other websites or applications that may collect
personally identifiable information about you. SPLA is not responsible for the privacy
practices or the content of those linked websites.
Disclosures and Consents
SPLA recommends unlimited data and messaging plans in connection with your use of
the SPLA Services. For some services, SPLA requires the use of email and/or SMS text
messages and/or IVR messaging. Depending on your mobile phone plan, standard data
and messaging charges may apply. SPLA collects, maintains and uses your personal
information and the geographic location of your mobile phone to provide the SPLA
Services. By using the SPLA Services, you consent to (a) the use of your mobile
phone’s location to provide the SPLA Services, including the use or display of such
information to your employer or law enforcement agencies, (b) receive text messages
and emails from SPLA.
Protection of Your User Information
Your Personal Information is protected in several ways. Access by you to your personal
information is available only with a user ID and password. This password is encrypted.
We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. In addition, your
personal information resides on a secure server that only selected SPLA personnel and
contractors and your Employer have access to via password.
SPLA wherever possible and applicable encrypts your Personal Information and thereby
strives to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is
transmitted to SPLA.
Although SPLA uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial and technical
safeguards to protect your User Information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security
of any information that we receive on your behalf through your use of the SPLA
Services or that you transmit to SPLA. Any such use or transmission is undertaken at
your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed,
disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, managerial or technical
safeguards.
SPLA uses the SSL Protocol to secure user data.
If SPLA learns of a breach of any of our systems, SPLA may attempt to notify you so
that you can take appropriate protective steps.
